Meet the Man!
After being hit by a car at twenty-two, Frank A. Throneberry isn't angry - he's thrilled to have a second chance. He knows God has a plan for his life and a brain injury is part of it. His injury hasn't dulled his sense of humor or his outrageous personality; he can still talk circles around anyone he meets and doesn't do too badly with the ladies, either.
Most importantly, the brain injury has introduced Frank to great people - the Madam, the Captain, Queen Bernadett, the Amazing Caren, Zach Attack, and Awesome Alex - caretakers who have become friends and family. With their help, the sky is the only limit as Frank has become a certified personal trainer and written numerous articles for rehab facilities.
After experiencing debilitating side effects from a seizure medication, Frank chose to alter his doses. Instead of supporting his decision, his doctors threatened a force removal to a group home. Determined to protect his rights and his freedom, Frank has to fight the very people who are supposed to encourage him.
Forever a Survivor, Forever a Fighter is an honest, heartfelt, and entertaining look at the brain injured life and what it takes to stay positive, no matter what. For everything that happens in your life, there is a reason. God has a plan and every day is a new and beautiful gift.
