Queen Jolene looked over at the men, her pulse racing. Oliver looked clearly terrified with his face turning red, Calvin looked unfettered, and Killian's eyebrows were raised in surprise. She was hesitant of their reactions, and she hoped they didn't think she was some common whore now.
"Makes sense," said King Zaros. "She's not going marry some idgit' in bed. I'm sure my son takes after me."
"Dad," said Killian, looking disgusted.
Raymond snickered at his embarrassment. Jolene breathed in deeply. This idea was probably not so great, she thought. What if the men didn't like her? It sure looked like Prince Killian wanted out of there.
