About the Book

Speaking on the basis of what appears as the human picture, it's not difficult to see that it appears we are living in precarious times. If one looks at our world today the signs of divisiveness are virtually everywhere. What form it takes may be different, but it is divisiveness, nonetheless. War, terrorism, ethnic and racial clashes, political and religious divisiveness, conflicts related to sexual orientation, gender and class, etc., etc. Even animal human conflict has reached an alarming level and many species have been forced into extinction due to human impact. We appear to be creating conflict, drawing lines that cross pre-existing lines, and creating divisions within divisions. This scenario is not restricted to just a handful of countries. It seems to be happening all over the world. What is going on in our societies, on our planet? Why are the divisions multiplying at every turn? Over the centuries many have come forth claiming to possess real answers to our dilemmas. Let's be ruthlessly honest. Have any of them delivered on their promises? What is it about humanity that perpetuates this apparent madness? Has humankind reached a pivot point in its relatively short appearance on planet earth? Clearly hope, faith and belief can be a comfort, but they cannot offer real solutions. Can anything be done to put humanity on a path to a more sustainable future? Need anything be done? Should anything be done? Given that the entire human picture appears within the framework time, and what seems to arise within the context of time must meet its inevitable end, an even more pertinent question seems to come forth. Does it even matter? THE SUBTLE SHIFT - The Fundamental Mechanism Paving the Road to the Extinction of Humanity, presents a viable theory pointing to shift in vibration that resulted in a divisive mechanism that impacts every aspect of our experience of living. It appears as though humans are not only stuck in a world of ideas, concepts, and beliefs, but indeed, inseparable from them. Speaking on the basis of what appears as the human spectrum, we seem to be characters in a temporal mental dreamlike construct. Our entire world and experience of it is all mental, nothing but thought. If one is able to accept the ephemeral nature of one's seeming status, then a fresh perspective appears to arise organically, and one knows that the way things appear is not the way they are. Certainly, this seems to impact one's daily experience of living. Maybe things are not as ominous as they appear, but they only appear that way if one lives under a false assumption that suggest one is simply a separate little self, stuck within a never present time spectrum, a temporary personality that is destined to meet an inevitable end. The following statement below is expressed with a certainty that can't be conveyed to another, so it is not suggested that you should blindly believe it at face value. Questioning, inquiring, and digging away at what is declared here is encouraged. There is infinite intelligence, existence itself. It has no beginning and no end, and any effort put forth to touch or grasp it through the purported human mind is futile. If we are but characters having the experience of a beautiful dream - if it was even possible - would anyone want to be woken up? Obviously, for some the dream has become a nightmare and so I publish this work. Who knows? Maybe one is touched at a point, sort of speak, beyond the words, ideas, beliefs, and mental concepts. Perhaps the message that seems to underlie these words triggers a different kind of shift. A shift in vibration so radical that the continuity of thought is severed and thinking aborts its mission to be master of the house, and instead takes on the role of a servant in our day-to-day experience.
