Störungen im Verlauf gehören ebenso dazu wie die gut oder schlecht gestaltete Lernumgebung, die Motivation der Teilnehmer, die Akzeptanz oder z. B. das Know-How des Kursleiters. Die Aussage und der Grundsatz, dass Störungen Vorrang haben, ist heute allgemein bekannt und findet in vielen erwachsenenpädagogischen Veranstaltungen unterschiedlichster Bildungsbereiche als (gut gemeinte) Kommunikationsregel oder Methode Anwendung. Doch trifft ein derartiger Gebrauch - als reine Regel oder Methode - den eigentlichen Kern des Postulats? Geht es hier tatsächlich (nur) um eine Regel unter vielen anderen Kommunikationsregeln wie z. B., den anderen ausreden zu lassen oder erst zuzuhören ohne Bewertung? Liegt nicht vielleicht auch der Verdacht nahe, dass das Postulat letztlich 'nur' dazu da ist, Störungen den Vorrang einzuräumen, um sie anschließend auszuräumen? Mit der vorliegenden Arbeit möchte ich versuchen, auf diese Fragen einzugehen sowie den Hintergrund und Kontext des Störungspostulats näher zu beleuchten. Insbesondere soll der Beitrag erörtert werden, den dieses Postulat bei richtigem Verständnis und entsprechender Handhabung in Bezug auf Störungen leistet, die innerhalb von Lehr- Lern-Prozessen aufgrund von Lernwiderständen auftreten können. Dabei wird verständlich sein, dass die Annäherung an die damit verbundenen Fragestellungen dem äußerst knappen Umfang einer solchen Hausarbeit unterworfen bleibt und daher nicht alles erschöpfend und evtl. auch manches der jeweiligen Komplexität nicht entsprechend angemessen betrachtet we
