Ce livre expose aux lecteurs les styles de leadership des propriétaires/managers de PME manufacturières au Ghana et leur approche de la culture orientée vers le marché. L'étude a cherché à déterminer la relation entre le style de leadership des propriétaires/gestionnaires, l'orientation vers le marché et la croissance des PME au Ghana. Les PME ont le potentiel d'assurer la croissance de l'emploi et de contribuer à la réduction de la pauvreté dans la plupart des pays africains. Pour atteindre l'objectif de cette étude, quatre objectifs spécifiques ont été formulés. Des données sur le style de leadership, l'orientation vers le marché et la croissance des PME ont été recueillies auprès de PME manufacturières de la métropole d'Accra. L'ouvrage a exploré les deux principaux styles de leadership (Transactionnel et Transformationnel) qui prédominent dans le contexte ghanéen. Les résultats de l'étude sont intéressants: il n'y a pas de relation significative entre le style de leadership transformationnel et l'orientation du marché, mais le style de leadership transactionnel a une relation négative mais significative avec l'orientation du client et une relation positive et significative avec la croissance des PME. Ces résultats, bien que surprenants, sont attendus en raison du secteur étudié (fabrication).
