Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Politik - Politische Systeme - Historisches, Note: 1,7, Technische Universität Chemnitz, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Studentenbewegung war die erste soziale Bewegung, in der weit über den politischen Protest hinausgehend etablierte kulturelle Werte, Lebensformen und emotionale Verhaltensmuster völlig neu geordnet wurden. Außerdem war sie die erste soziale Bewegung, die ihren Protest nicht nur in alternativen Teilöffentlichkeiten und auf der Straße artikulierte, sondern die für ihre Proteste gezielt die Massenmedien nutzte. Die Inszenierung von Tabu-Brüchen, Grenzverletzungen und Schockaktionen traf Ende der 1960er Jahre auf eine medien-historische Schwellensituation, in der die Massenmedien durch den Siegeszug des Fernsehens einem grundlegenden Wandel unterzogen wurden. Neben dem Fernsehen stellten auch die Print-Medien ihre Berichterstattung umfassend auf visuelle und emotionale Kriterien um. Die expressiven Protestaktionen der Studentenbewegung wurden in diesem medien-historischen Kontext der Visualisierung und Emotionalisierung von den Massenmedien schon früh als Medienereignis erkannt. In ihrer wirksamen Re-Inszenierung der Proteste wurden die Massenmedien damit selbst zu Akteuren im Bereich der politischen und kulturellen Konflikte Ende der 1960er Jahre.1 "Es ist zweifelhaft, ob die Revolte jemals solche Ausmaße angenommen hätte, wenn es keine Fernsehkameras gäbe. Studentenproteste, die sich in geordneten Formen und nach den Spielregeln der freien Meinungsäußerung abspielen, haben nicht die mindeste Chance, [...] auf die Titelseiten der Presse zu kommen.[...]. Die Dirigenten der Rebellion spekulierten mit wachsendem Erfolg auf die Faszination der modernen Gesellschaft durch das Abnorme und auf ihr kränkliches Bedürfnis nach immer stärkeren Nervenkitzeln."2 Es besteht also kein Zweifel daran, dass ohne das Fernsehen die Austrahlungskraft eines Dutschke auf die junge Intelligenz der damaligen Bundesrepublik ei
