Forschungsarbeit aus dem Jahr 2017 im Fachbereich Führung und Personal - Sonstiges, Note: 1,3, SRH Hochschule Riedlingen, Veranstaltung: Leadership & Management, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im theoretischen Teil dieser Arbeit wird zunächst der strukturelle Empowerment-Ansatz dem psychologischem Empowerment gegenübergestellt und die Facetten des psychologischen Empowerments erläutert. Anschließend werden Führungsstile mit Potenzial für das psychologische Empowerment der Mitarbeiter identifiziert und die Dimensionen des empowermentorientierten Führungsstils erläutert. Im methodischen Teil werden dann die Rahmenbedingungen für das zu testende Modell abgesteckt und die Indikatoren des Modells operationalisiert. Die Ergebnisse der quantitativen Untersuchung werden im vierten Kapitel dieser Arbeit dargestellt und im fünften Teil im Hinblick auf ihre Aussagekraft diskutiert. Außerdem werden die Gütekriterien der Methodik erörtert. Die Arbeit schließt mit einem Fazit zu Störeinflüssen und weiteren Einflussfaktoren des psychologischen Empowerments ab. Die machiavellistische Sicht auf das Management geht davon aus, Manager können nur großartig werden, indem sie ihre Macht strategisch ausbauen und einen furchteinflößenden Respekt bei ihren Beschäftigten erzeugen. Diese Sicht auf das Management zieht sich seit langer Zeit durch die Literatur und ermutigt Manager, ihre Machtbasis zu stärken. Gleichzeitig kommt eine andere Sicht auf die Machtverteilung auf. Wissenszuwachs, Digitalisierung, Globalisierung und der demografische Wandel verändern die Art zu arbeiten und zu führen. Wissen muss immer schneller erworben, verknüpft und reproduziert werden. Unternehmen sind auf Mitarbeiter angewiesen, die über wertvolle Spezialisierungen verfügen und ihr Wissen stetig weiterentwickeln.
