Inhaltsangabe: Gang der Untersuchung: Die Diplomarbeit beschäftigt sich mit den Themen die ein Unternehmen bei der Einführung eines neuen Geschäftsfeldes tangieren. In Kapitel A sind dies: Das festlegen von Zielen für das Unternehmen und die aus den Zielen resultierenden Probleme zu entdecken und identifizieren. Die Vertriebskommunikation als das Ohr beim Kunden" im Zusammenhang der Auftragsgewinnung, die Kundenzufriedenheit und das Gewinnen von Kunden in den verschiedenen Phasen des Produktlebenszyklus. Besondere Beachtung finden dabei die wesentlichen Einflußfaktoren auf die Kundenzufriedenheit. Das Teilgebiet Organisation und Umweltschutz macht Aussagen über die notwendige Positionierung des Unternehmens im Kontext Umweltschutz. Das Franchising behandelt die Vor- und Nachteile dieser Kooperationsart und stellt die verschiedenen Franchisetypologien vor. Lobbying und das Image des Unternehmens werden wesentlich von der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit geprägt. Was ein Unternehmen tun kann um diese Imagebildung selbst in die Hand zu nehmen wird in der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit beschrieben. Die Strategie beschäftigt sich mit der langfristigen Planung für das Unternehmen. Dabei werden die Grundlagen der strategischen Planung und die Eigenschaften von Hidden Champions ("die heimlichen Gewinner") angesprochen. Die Zukunftsszenarien für das neue Geschäftsfeld, in denen die vielschichtig möglichen Entwicklungen mit Hilfe der Szenariotechnik durchgeführt werden, lassen Aussagen über die zukünftige Entwicklung des neuen Geschäftsfeldes zu. Entsprechend der Positionierung des Themengebiets im Umweltschutz werden zum Abschluß des Kapitels A die neuesten Erkenntnisse im Bereich der Passivhäuser angesprochen. Das Kapitel B beschäftigt sich ausschließlich mit dem Thema Photovoltaik. Dieses Kapitel erstreckt sich von der Historie, über den Aufbau, die Herstellung, die Einsatzgebiete und den Grenzen für den Einsatz von Photovoltaikanlagen.
