About the Book

This book titled Strategic Management and Business Policy is an ideal textbook for students studying
management for the first time, whether at undergraduate or graduate programs, covering all of the
functional areas and processes of management, i.e., Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing,
Controlling, etc. It provides a framework for students to understand the inter-relatedness of the different aspects of management and how they robust as one in the business organization. The primary objective of this book is to present prologue to the theory and practice of management and it is a base for a number of important undergraduate or graduate studies in India.

About the Author

Dr. Vijay Pithadia cleared 15 years of teaching experience in three states: Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat and 6 years of industry experience in the Electronics Engineering and Managerial areas from 1990 to 1997. Dr. Pithadia’s more than 50 papers have been published at international level online journal. His more than 45 papers have been published in national/state level referred (ISBN/ISSN) print journals. He has completed 45 international, national and state level conferences and seminars. He acted as Chairperson for Technical Session-1 at National Level Seminar Organized by P. G. Department of Finance and Management, VISWASS, Bhubaneswar, India.
