About the Book

Stranger World ... where the Humans are the Attractions. A world where a civilization has traded reality for life in total immersion theme parks. The artificial creations took over and conquered humanity. While the Creations evolved for centuries, their subjugated humans are now nearly extinct.

"THE NEXT EVOLUTION OF WESTWORLD!!! The lines of imagination and reality have never been so blurred as in this amazing, yet sinister world of theme parks so creatively envisioned by Jack Castle!"
-Joe Butler, Editor for the Spokesman Review

Amidst the chaos, a combat helicopter pilot shot down in 2012, awakens in this bizarre and futuristic world. It is a place where homicidal monarchs reign, ravenous monsters roam, and the tea parties are enough to drive a Hatter Mad. But Colonel George Stapleton doesn't care about any of those things. His only goal is to find his kidnapped daughter. He is soon joined by other humans from the past and an 18th century, British officer named "The Leftenant". She appears only in the form of a no-nonsense hologram and seems desperate to reclaim her lost airship, the HMAS Dauntless.

Then of course, there's the enigmatic, mischievous imp known as, The Lamppost Man, who, despite his nasty habit of getting everyone into trouble, just may be the key to everything.

"Sick daughter inspires writer to create "Stranger World", which has often been described as Westworld meets Alice in Wonderland."

-Kaye Thornbrugh, Coeur D'Alene Press

"Finally, a Sci-fi/Fantasy written for grownups that can be enjoyed by all ages Finished book one in two days, devoured book two, then consumed the rest of the series. Rich fantastical story world and solid pacing make this a book you can't put down. Each books introduces more exciting adventures, creatures, and characters in Stranger World. The series is truly not to be missed. Needs to become a movie or series."
-Amazon

"Castle's Stranger World series has made it onto Amazon's Top 100 lists. This "Stranger World" in which they've landed turns out to be an elaborate theme park complete with artificial cast members and dangerous guests."
-Stephanie Hammett, Spokesman Review

(Wry Futuristic Theme Park meets dark Alice in Wonderland)
"I've read all of Mr. Castle's novels and this just might be my new #1! Stephen King's "Dark Tower" used to be my favorite universe, but now I think that title belongs to the Stranger World."
-Liz Gerrick

"I WANT TO GO THERE! I don't care that it means almost certain death, I WANT TO VISIT THIS THEME PARK!!! It has everything you could ever (and never) want. Jack's characters are so lovable that you can't help but want to meet them!"
-Charles Curtiss

"My copy of "Stranger World" is soiled with the literary goodness of dog-eared pages, adorned with coffee stains and snack particles, these from reading through the chapters time and again. The characters become your close companions, you are there with them as they navigate through the dark and savage corners of this Stranger World. We dream of wild and frightening adventures, but what do those who live through these adventures dream of? Enter Stranger World and experience it for yourself. Great read!"
