About the Book

China's history, the elementary school language teaching material and several "history museums" publicize the story of the "Red Army Dashed Through the Luding Bridge ", said that in 1935 the red army evacuated in Jiangxi's "Chinese Soviet Republic" or the "Long March", a company one day and one night hungry marching 240 mile mountain road, repelled several times by the Kuomintang army to encircle, temporarily bridge and repair road, came to Luding bridge, the enemy sealed off the deck with powerful artillery, the bridge plates of more than 100 meters long iron cable were removed, the Red Army launched an assault across the bridge and won. Not only can people deny this myth from scientific common sense, but also many Red Army generals who personally participated in the battle of Luding Bridge and even Deng Xiaoping have denied it. But so far there are countless movies, TV shows, dramas, books, newspaper articles and so on to promote the myth. Now some businessmen have developed a variety of "revolutionary traditional education red tourism" entertainment projects of "experiencing the Red Army flying over Luding Bridge".
The magical story of "The Red Army Dashed Through the Luding Bridge" was actually mainly created and promoted by Yang Chengwu. Yang Chengwu is an important figure in the CPC and the People's Liberation Army, especially during the Cultural Revolution. This book also presents a true record of the historical facts of Yang Chengwu's actions during the Cultural Revolution. For example, he mercilessly exposed and criticized the "crimes" of Deng Xiaoping, Luo Ruiqing, and others; boasted about his close relationship with Lin Biao, and intoxicatedly put forward the slogan of "making every effort to establish Mao Zedong's absolute authority". During the Cultural Revolution, he was entrusted with an important post by Mao Zedong, and then overthrown by Mao Zedong mercilessly, and so on.
