About the Book

While looking at this beautiful world in which we live, it is hard not to notice how desperately sad life can be and how unjustly some treat others. I have come to realise this is something that need not be the norm or excepted reality for either us now or our children for the future. Having spent nearly half a century, ruled over by people and by a system never designed for human dignity, equality or freedom. I thought it about time we started the conversation that would lead away from the madness. This book sheds light on why we live in the way we live right now and why it is that so few are willing to do anything about the decline in morals shown by those who should be setting a much better example than they do. We will look at everything from society, freedom, politics organised religion and morality, all while remembering the question before us, is there a better way to proceed. My wish for my writing this is that you will, from here on in engaging your mind, question everything and start to regard your fellow human beings as the family, they are. The more people like you there are in the world; the world would be a much better place for all.
About the Author: I am a keen observer of life and all that makes up our journey together. I am in no other way educated in the finer points that would mean I should be referred to in any other way than that. However with the words of the American scholar Horace Mann "Until you have done something for humanity you should be ashamed to die." ringing in my ears, I have decided to put my thoughts into form for all to read. I do this for three reasons; Firstly in a hope of stirring a hunger for questioning so that people would not take for granted their situation but would instead look to a better way of living. Secondly to break down that which separates us and show that we all have this life, at this time, together, we need to work together to make the very best of it. And thirdly to start a conversation about how we are to live together without the need for fighting and senseless killings or persecutions so that the human family might not only grow but flourish. I believe wholeheartedly in the human family and its capacity for goodness and moral living. Together we are better.
