Dazu werden im zweiten Kapitel die allgemeinen Grundlagen in Bezug auf die Thematik Mystery-Shopping und Servicequalität dargestellt, um für den Leser ein einheitliches Verständnis zu gewährleisten. Im dritten Kapitel wird ein fiktives Mystery-Shopping-Projekt auf einem Restaurant aufgesetzt und im Dreiklang des Forschungsprozess nach Planung, Durchführung und Auswertung theoretisch angeleitet. Schwerpunkt bildet dabei die Vorbereitung und die anschließende Phase der Datenerhebung. Schließen wird diese Arbeit im vierten Kapitel mit einer Zusammenfassung und Fazit.
