AKAD Fachhochschule Stuttgart, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, Handlungsempfehlungen für Unternehmen zu entwickeln, mit denen die Attraktivität als Arbeitgeber optimiert werden kann. Es werden zunächst theoretische Begrifflichkeiten erläutert und im Anschluss daran wichtige Einflussgrößen in Bezug auf die Arbeitgeberattraktivität definiert. Ein weiteres Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die empirische Analyse von drei ausgewählten Studien, die sich mit dem Thema "Arbeitgeberattraktivität" auseinandergesetzt haben. Im Rahmen dieser Betrachtung sollen einzelne Kernpunkte herausgearbeitet werden, die wiederum als Basis für die Ableitung von Handlungsempfehlungen dienen sollen. Mithilfe dieser Empfehlungen soll es den Unternehmen möglich sein, ihre Arbeitgebermarke zu etablieren und optimieren. Die Bedeutung der Arbeitgeberattraktivität im personalpolitischen Bereich hat in den letzten Jahren erheblich zugenommen. Ein Grund für diese Entwicklung stellt der demographische Wandel und der daraus resultierende Fachkräftemangel dar. Dies wird dazu führen, dass sich das Machtverhältnis auf dem Arbeitsmarkt für die Generation Y und Z, aufgrund des Ausscheidens der Babyboomer Generation und den darauffolgenden geringen Geburtenjahrgängen, verändern wird. Haben sich die früheren Generationen bei der Suche nach einem geeigneten Arbeitsplatz noch gegen zahlreiche Mitbewerber durchsetzen müssen, können die jüngeren Generationen bereits heute zwischen verschiedenen Positionen wählen. Entscheidend für die Wahl des geeigneten Arbeitsplatzes ist fortan nicht mehr allein die Entlohnung, sondern eine Vielzahl aus verschiedener Kriterien, wie beispielsweise einer ausgewogenen Work-Life-Balance, einer flexiblen Arbeitsgestaltung oder persönlichen Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten.
