About The Author:
Dr S.K. Mandal is the former Director, Scienti_c Services, Tata Steel Ltd., Jamshedpur. Before joining Tata Steel, he was the Head, Central Metallurgy and Heat Treatment, Tata Motors Ltd., Jamshedpur. With over 30 years of industry experience, Dr Mandal has published over 75 technical papers in Indian and international journals and books relating to steel technology and heat treatment. He has served as Visiting Faculty and Adjunct Professor at the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
