They do freelance work for a pittance of what they can make if they start a full-on digital agency. A digital agency sells services and consultation at flat rates. You bundle a group of services together and offer these services up to clients for a flat monthly rate. It is important to explain on the front-end to your new clients that it will take about 3 - 6 months before you'll be able to show them any measurable return on investment. It takes time to optimize social media profiles, write blog posts, create branded graphics that will elevate their brands to levels they have yet to see, and to build YouTube channels. You have to give value to get value-is basically what you tell them. It may sound like a sales pitch, and it is, but it is also the truth. I like the truth-it serves me well in my own social agency.
