In uncertain times, who will survive?
Reunited as a family, the Dobsons settle in for the long haul. Less than a week after martial law is declared, the country is falling apart fast. Crime is rampant, led by the brutal Bandits biker gang. Breaking a thousand prisoners out of jail is just the start of their reign of terror.
With some neighbours still refusing to recognise the seriousness of the situation, Mark finds himself struggling to keep his family safe. The stress of the situation is affecting them all, and the threat of violence is ever-present. Scrounging for extra supplies puts them at more risk, not least from other families.
Standing fast together is the only way they will get through.
But when Mark is captured by the Bandits, it seems inevitable that they will be overrun and lose everything. Having fought her way through the city to safety, Gemma must now find her inner warrior to take the lead. She hasn't come this far to give up now. Faced with a gang of well-armed murderous thugs, it's going to take more than good luck.
It's time to fight fire with fire.
