Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Linguistik, Note: 1,0, Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Veranstaltung: Sprachreflexion - Sprachwissenschaftliche Grundlagen und didaktische Konzepte, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit soll eine Begründung dafür liefern, warum und wie Mehrsprachigkeit in den Schulklassen der Grundschule genutzt werden kann, damit sowohl monolinguale als auch bilinguale Schüler ihre Sprachbewusstheit erweitern können, indem sie sich gegenseitig unterstützen. Dabei sollen die Muttersprachen der Migrantenkinder aufgegriffen werden, um die zweisprachigen Kinder als Experten in den Unterricht einzubeziehen und damit den Einsprachigen den Horizont von Sprachgebrauch zu erweitern. Diese Erörterung äußerer Mehrsprachigkeit im Deutschunterricht soll ein aktuelles Thema der heutigen oft multikulturellen Klassen aufgreifen. Da jedoch auch einsprachig aufgewachsene Kinder Vorkenntnisse zur Mehrsprachigkeit aufweisen, werde ich ebenfalls auf die Erscheinungsformen des Deutschen eingehen, da diese oft erst bewusst gemacht werden müssen, denn selbst ein deutscher monolingualer Erwachsener spricht an unterschiedlichen Orten, in unterschiedlichen Situationen, mit unterschiedlichen Personen immer wieder eine andere Sprache - in diesem Fall Varietäten des Deutschen. Diese Flexibilität macht den Erwachsenen aus. Die Kinder müssen sich diese Fähigkeit allerdings erst aneignen. Die Auseinandersetzung mit der äußeren Mehrsprachigkeit, also mit Sprachen anderer Nationen, und der inneren Mehrsprachigkeit, also den Varietäten des Deutschen, soll zum einen die Sprachbewusstheit hinsichtlich des Sprachgebrauchs prägen und zum andern die Ressourcen in einer Klasse ausschöpfen und nutzen. So merken bilinguale bzw. dialektal geprägte Kinder, dass man Interesse an ihrer Sprechweise zeigt und entwickeln so (möglicherweise) einen höheren Motivationsgrad, die deutsche Standardsprache zu perfektionieren.
