Examensarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Interkulturelle Pädagogik, Note: 1,5, Universität Bremen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Als Einstig in die komplexe Thematik der Mehrsprachigkeit von Migrantenjugendlichen und den Umgang damit an deutschen Schulen habe ich mich im Kapitel 2 mit der Frage auseinandergesetzt, wie sich die migrationsbedingte sprachlich-kulturelle Heterogenität in Deutschland entwickelt hat und welche Konsequenzen für Erziehung und Bildung zu ziehen sind. Die zunehmende sprachlich-kulturelle Heterogenität ist ein besonders hervorzuhebendes Merkmal unserer Gesellschaft. Seit dem Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs ist in Deutschland eine sprachlich-kulturelle Heterogenität zu beobachten, die besonders auf eine grenzüberschreitende Migration zurückzuführen ist. Die gesamte Migrationsbewegung hat sich neben allen gesellschaftlichen Bereichen insbesondere auf den Erziehungs- und Bildungsbereich ausgewirkt. Die zunehmende Heterogenität der Schülerschaft stellt eine Herausforderung für die Lehrkräfte dar, da sie Kompetenzen im Bereich der interkulturellen Erziehung verlangt. Im Kapitel 3 habe ich meine Ausführungen auf die Kernfrage bezogen, was die charakteristischen Merkmale des Sprachgebrauchs von Migrantenjugendlichen sind. Kinder und Jugendliche mit Migrationshintergrund wachsen in zwei unterschiedlichen Gesellschaften auf. Ein beträchtlicher Teil dieser wächst im Kontext von Transmigration auf. Unter diesen Bedingungen bilden sie Sprechweisen aus, die man als "Mischsprache" bezeichnen kann. Diese Sprechweise ist in besonderem Maße durch das Phänomen des Code-switching geprägt. Das Beherrschen zwei oder mehrerer Sprachen ermöglicht die Konstruktion verschiedener Identitätsausprägungen. Auer und Dirim sehen die Sprachmischung als einen wichtigen funktionalen Bestandteil des Sprachgebrauchs mehrsprachiger Jugendlicher, die auf verschiedenen Ebenen identitätsstiftend wirken.
