Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Deutsch - Pädagogik, Didaktik, Sprachwissenschaft, Note: 2, Pädagogische Hochschule Heidelberg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Jedes zweite Kind in Deutschland wird in eine Familie mit Migrationshintergrund hineingeboren. Migrantenkinder, aber auch einige deutsche Kinder, haben oft einen zu geringen Wortschatz und zu geringe Grammatikenntnisse, um dem Regelunterricht in der Grundschule folgen zu können. Probleme der deutschen Sprache wirken sich aber nicht nur auf das Fach Deutsch negativ aus, sondern auch auf alle anderen Fächer. Die Kinder schneiden dadurch in der Schule schlechter ab und haben somit ungünstigere Ausgangsvoraussetzungen auf einen guten Schulabschluss und einen qualifizierten Ausbildungsplatz ( vgl.) Wenn Kinder schon im Grundschulalter durch mangelhaftes Wissen und Deutschkenntnisse scheitern, indem sie bereits die erste Klasse wiederholen müssen, führt das schon früh zu einer anti-schulischen Haltung und zur Ausprägung von "Schulmüdigkeit". Die Folge ist, das diese Kinder, die schon in jungen Jahren nur negative Erfahrungen mit Schule verbinden, sich oft in ethnische Gruppen zurückziehen oder Halt in religiös- fundamentalistischen Gruppen suchen. Häufig sind sie dann nicht mehr für die Schule wiederzugewinnen. So kommt es dazu, dass viele Kinder mit Migrationshintergrund nicht einmal einen Hauptschulabschluss erlangen, weil sie vorzeitig die Schule abbrechen. Oder sie bekommen aufgrund eines schlechten Schulabschlusses keinen Ausbildungsplatz. Auch werden überdurchschnittlich viele ausländische Schüler schneller auf die Sonderschule geschickt, weil man die fehlenden Deutschkenntnisse auf eine mangelnde Intelligenz der Kinder zurückführt. Demzufolge kommt es zu gravierenden Problemen wie hoher Arbeitslosenrate, Kriminalität aufgrund der Perspektivlosigkeit etc. Um diesen gesellschaftlichen Problemen entgegenzuwirken, ist dringend Handlungsbedarf nötig.
