Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2014 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Deutsch - Deutsch als Fremdsprache, Note: 1,0, Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen (Germanistik), Veranstaltung: Lernvariablen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Mit dieser Arbeit werde ich das Thema "Spracherwerb und Sprachförderung von Kindern aus Familien mit Zuwanderungsgeschichte" ausarbeiten und dabei den Fokus auf den Elementarbereich legen. Ausschlaggebend für meine Themenwahl waren meine zwei Kinder. Während der Grundschulzeit hat mein Sohn auch im Fach "Deutsch als Zweitsprache" teilgenommen. Im Laufe dieser Zeit konnte ich feststellen, dass einige seiner Klassenkameraden mit Zuwanderungsgeschichte immer noch erhebliche Mängel in der deutschen Sprache aufweisen, obwohl sie einen mindestens zweijährigen Kindergartenbesuch hinter sich haben. Meine Tochter ist 5 Jahre alt besucht eine städtische Kindertageseinrichtung. Die unterschiedlichen Erfolge im Erwerb der deutschen Sprache, obwohl die Voraussetzungen gleich waren, ließen bei mir die Fragestellung nach der Professionalität der Sprachförderung von Kindern mit Deutsch als Zweitsprache oder Fremdsprache in Kindertageseinrichtungen aufkommen. Viele der Kinder in der Klasse meines Sohnes als auch der Kinder in der Kindergartengruppe meiner Tochter können die deutsche Sprache nicht altersgemäß sprechen und haben auch Probleme in der eigenen Muttersprache. Dies habe ich aus unzähligen Unterhaltungen mit den Eltern erfahren. Auf die signifikanten Sprachprobleme der Kinder reagiert die Schule mit dem Förderprogramm "Deutsch als Zweitsprache". Allerdings ist das Problem aber viel früher aufzugreifen, etwa im Kindergartenalter. Kinder aus Familien mit Zuwanderungsgeschichte besuchen schon seit drei Generationen deutsche Bildungseinrichtungen. Meistens fallen sie aber durch sprachliche Defizite auf, das belegen neue Zahlen von Bund und Ländern zu den Sprachkenntnissen von Schülern mit Migrationshintergrund.
