Excerpt: Jean-Sebastien Giguere (French pronunciation: born May 16, 1977 in Montreal, Quebec) is a French-Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing with the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played major junior with the Verdun College Francais and Halifax Mooseheads in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), where he was drafted 13th overall by the Hartford Whalers in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. He played in the Calgary Flames organization for four seasons before joining the Anaheim Ducks in 2000.
