I would never stop reminiscing about my marriage. If there were a more significant word than perfect, I would use it. My Husband treasured me with his whole heart, and I felt I was married to a bride-groom from heaven . Everything was sweet, tremendous, and flawless!One night, my Husband called me and said, " Sweetie if I die today, would you raise me?" I was like what is Ben saying; raise you? He asked again the second time, "Sweetie if I die or be out of breath, would you raise me?"I was silent for some few minutes before he turned to the other side of the bed, and within a few minutes, he slept off!The next day was CHERISHED as usual by my Husband, and since he didn't make mention of it again, I was happy, and our marital journey continued without issues. I was the prayerful type, and my Husband was the great type that treasured me and made me feel loved. Two years later, the devil struck, and before I knew it, Ben came back from work one night and started using wrong words on me. He insulted me till when tears were dropping from my eyes. Fast track to a few months later, everything looked destroyed; My once loving Husband was now a stranger; he was no longer caring, loving, nice and sweet... In short words, he stopped eating my meals again! One night in my bedroom, I looked up and said, "Holy Spirit reveal the unknown to me! I slept off only for me to have a dream. In the dream, I saw myself struggling with another woman for my Husband. I didn't see her face, but she was trying to have him by dragging him. I was struggling with her in the dream; then I opened my eyes!Immediately I was awake, I rushed to our prayer room and began to Pray!I said, "Lord, fix my marriage. Fix us!" As speedily as the prayer was on my lips, I felt in my spirit that God ask, Do you have faith in me that I can do what you are asking me to do? I said, "Lord, let your will be done in our lives!My Husband, Ben, and I had hit a rock of deep pain. Busyness, Wickedness, and Selfishness. I was furious at Ben. The situations don't matter. There are undoubtedly a lot like the situations in your marriage from time to time. But don't give up on your Husband or wife no matter what happens. I began to pray powerful, spiritual warfare prayers until when the Holy Spirit whispered the same words Ben used some years back to me, "Sweetie, would you raise me when I am dead?"I began to cry; Ben was asking me if I would be there to pray for Him when He was spiritually dead! That was it! I prayed fervently until one night!Ben woke me up in the night and started crying; he told me of his blunders! He said, "Sweetie, I have sinned against you and God, I never wanted to have anything to do with her, but I was not able to control myself." Ben was in a relationship with his secretary. He said, "I had to break it up with her yesterday because I was tired of the whole thing!"I thank God for restoring my marriage; and today, it is five years God restored my marriage. Who told you God could not restore your marriage?It takes a lot of bravery, courage, and wisdom to admit that your marriage might not be precisely what you want because you are not exactly what you need to be. Be courageous. Put yourself under God's wings to be saved from all marital issues. Now, I have a husband who never fails to ask for my forgiveness, prays with me each night at bedtime, cheerfully enters into counseling when we need it, handles our money well, begs me to creep away with him from time to time, and bears my weaknesses as much as I stand his. I believe with the help of the Holy Spirit through this book," Spiritual warfare prayers destroying all unseen forces troubling Marriages," your marriage will be whole again. I believe God will restore your marriage and give you the needed joy once again in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!
