About the Book

I lit a candle and closed my eyes, breathing slowly and deeply I allowed my mind and body to relax. Feeling my inner self shake free from my physical shell I flew freely on an astral journey. I travelled through icy chasms of rainbow lights, I was seeking a voice that has often called my name. A warm feeling of love filled my very soul and I bathed in the overwhelming blanket of contentment and peace. All my stresses and tensions were left behind on the earthly plane. The ultimate love we all seek was here and I basked in the radiance of the light that appeared ahead of me. As I neared the misty glow it grew bigger and brighter. A shadow stood in the centre of the light she called my name. 'Who are you?' I asked. ' What do you want with me?' The reply came in the voice of an Angel. 'At last you have come. I have been patiently waiting for you. My name is Sarah, Sarah Miller. I have a task for you.' Hence, I did not write the ' Spirit of the Willow'. I have just transcribed all the details that Sarah has related to me. The book is an alchemy of enchantment, romance and folklore with a subtle hint of white and slightly grey Angels. Sarah told me that towards the end of her existence on this earth she had completed a journal of her memoirs based on her life of sunshine and shadows, it was to explain the reasons why she decided to become an eccentric recluse living in a dilapidated cottage deep inside remote woodland with only the company of the wildlife. Her life on this earth had begun as the only daughter of a frail mother and a deeply religious father. She was gifted or cursed with a psychic insight to heal the sick and sadly to see the spirits of the dear and near departed, her constant company throughout her lifetime was her so called childhood imaginary friend, her guardian Angel Tobias. At the young age of nine her father couldn't suffer his daughter's embarrassing strange behaviour any longer and she was banished to a family in a remote part of Cornwall. Never truly understanding what she had really done wrong she was never to see her parents on this earth again. Her life becomes much harsher as she grows up within a hard working farming family that do not really notice her odd ways. After an odd tryst with an evil presence she marries a man she doesn't truly love only to have a secret assignation with what was to become her true soul mate. This sets a seed that brings about tremendous changes to her odd life. When events take a cruel twist and she suffers the most horrendous loss she steps out from reality and chooses to become a recluse. Sarah and I are not strangers she is the haunting voice that has frequently been in contact with me since I was a small child. We share the same Guardian Angel, crazy as it seems it is the truth, as I see it. Just after Sarah's death her journal was lost in time and never exposed for the world to read. This has haunted her restless spirit. But now it is re-written, you could call it a second edition. Sarah's soul can now move on and rest in everlasting peace. Please enjoy Sarah's words as much as I have by being in contact with this remarkable lady. Cry with the small lonely child Laugh with the old lady And most of all Believe and Trust In Guardian Angels. You are never really on your own, just ask for their help.
