About the Book

Learn Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar through Stories with a unique approach that uses intonation and pronunciation to help you with punctuation and hyphenation. You see your friend laughing and ask, "What's so funny?" And he or she shows you Spagtionary. Would you believe learning grammar could be fun? The author knows grammar is not a subject people love to study, so he has made it fun by using stories in different genres- horror, romance, mystery, and so on- to teach you about hyphens, commas, periods, and many other different boring grammar subjects. Even if you don't want to learn grammar, buy this book to enjoy the stories! Any way you look at it, you'll have fun reading this book! Unique Approach Did you know pronunciation and intonation are connected with punctuation? For instance man-eating shark is pronounced as two words man-eating and shark; whereas man eating shark is pronounced as three distinct words. How about: He is a five-year-old. He is five years old. Notice when you say five-year-old, you stress the first word and year is singular, whereas when you say, "He is five years old." You normally stress old. What does that mean? That punctuation and hyphenation are meant to tell you when to intone something a certain way or pause. No other book has this approach. You'll learn to punctuate better just by listening to how you say something, or by singing a sentence. Punctuation and hyphenation came from the need to teach people how to intone, pronounce and sing written texts. So rhyming and storytelling is the way to go! I dare you to find another book with this unique approach to teaching punctuation and hyphenation! And this is fun! Another example to prove how teaching this way will make you remember. People confuse follow-up and follow up. How can you tell when to use the hyphen? First, the stress will tell you. Look at this: Did you follow up on the story? You stress up. You say it louder. I promise I'll write a follow-up as soon as I can. Notice you stress follow. Has anybody ever told you this before? I doubt it. This is a unique approach you won't find anywhere else. Then you have the proximity rule, another unique approach. Did you follow up... Follow comes after did, so do not hyphenate it. A follow-up... Follow comes after a, so hyphenate it. Have you ever heard of the proximity rule? I doubt it. This method is unique and fun! Even if you don't want any spelling, punctuation and grammar with your short stories, then by all means, ignore the explanation and enjoy stories of every genre. However, think about it. You buy books to read stories, why not bring together study and pleasure? Is there a rule against it? Any way you look at it, you'll enjoy this book! Make your choice: Buy a book of short stories with spelling, punctuation and grammar tips, or a spelling, punctuation and grammar book with stories to ease your learning experience. I dare you to find a book here with this winning combination! By the way, Mulata Books rates this book PG-13. This is another unique approach. All Mulata Books will be rated just like a movie because reading them is a movie experience in your mind! Do not forget this name Mulata Books, and its first author JM daSilva. You'll associate them with writing that provides novels and short stories in the unique movie style, which is a combination of script writing and book writing. A unique writing style that will allow you to see a movie in your mind. JM daSilva's first novel is coming soon to the theater mind in you! His Vincent M. Walker series will shake your world!
