Nearly every moment of every day can be spent helping or harming others, doing good or evil, bringing forth the good news in word and deed to others, or holding it back from a world that so desperately needs the truth's healing wisdom.
In this yearlong devotional, be inspired and encouraged by real, personal stories from the lives of people living today as well as those in biblical times. Through their examples, theology, and biblical truths, you'll be motivated to take your faith and put it into action throughout the day.
It's vital for your spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being to break away from the grip of discouragement. It's often easy to forget your value, but throughout the pages of this book, you'll be reminded that Jesus considers you his treasure, one he purchased with his blood, and you are commissioned to extend that good news to others.
The eclectic topics and examples of the everyday, applicable messages featured will refresh the Christian spirit and challenge you to run the race of life with faith, endurance, and the motivation and comfort God's love brings.
About the Author: Author Ted Beam has been a pastor at United Methodist churches in Kentucky since 1989. Before earning his master of divinity, master of arts in biblical studies, and doctor of ministry degrees from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, Beam trained for industrial technology at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.
With an understanding of the need for building up more pastors in developing countries, Beam has been teaching people who would otherwise not have the opportunity to receive formal theological education so that they can go forth and spread the good news of the gospel in their homelands.
Beam married his high-school sweetheart, Debbie, and they have four children.
