The great scientist Albert Einstein referred to his intuition as the only real valuable thing. It has been more than 50 years since Einstein has passed on, but the world has only just begun to feel comfortable talking about gut feelings and the fact that intuition does, indeed, play a part in decision making, in the way we live, and in the way we become successful. Gerald Chew obtained a law degree from the University of London and an MBA (with high distinction) in electronic commerce from the University of Adelaide. After his studies in law, he remained in London to be called to the English Bar as a Barrister of the Middle Temple in 1988. He was called to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor in 1989.
He joined the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) as an Administrative Officer and Board Secretary in 1990. From 1995, he has served as Regional Counsel to MTV Asia, Corporate Counsel to Wuthelam Holdings and other companies in broadcasting, information technology and investment holding. He is currently General Counsel of Petra Foods Limited, where he anchors the Law & Corporate Affairs Department. Gerald continues to deploy his intuition, use his inspirational triggers, and manifest many of the things he talks about in his Power Guide.
He is married to Delphine Lim and has two lovely children-Desiree, 11, and Gareth, 9. In his own time, when he is not spending time with Delphine, Desiree, or Gareth or catching up with his mum, extended family, or friends, he can be found reading in his living room, writing in his "office" at home, or running medium to long distances on the streets of Singapore or elsewhere.
