About the Book

This book will change forever the way you perceive the afterlife. Imagine the afterlife was completely made up of dreams you had while you were alive. For example, if you dreamed of eating an apple, then in the afterlife you would be able to enjoy that apple. But in the reality that follows death, not everyone knows there is a connection between dreams and the afterlife. For those that do, there are two groups of souls. One group which believes life is meaningless, sad, and purposeless and wants people who are still alive to commit suicide and to achieve that goal spread their message through nightmares. Another group believes humans need to live as long as they can so they can experience more dreams to bring with them to the afterlife. These two sides will clash and the innocent will get hurt. For a more detailed explanation visit my YouTube page at http: //youtu.be/R6rpwXoULfQ . For the past four years, 14-year old Michael Garmon has been tormented by nightmares. His grades, attendance, and friendships suffer. As Michael finishes seventh grade, he becomes friends with 14-year old Ashling and slowly his nightmares stop and life changes for the better until the town's mayor commits suicide. Michael thinks very little of the death until he reads the suicide note which was published online. The note says more people will commit suicide, life is meaningless, and the name of the next person to take their life. Ashling lets Michael in on a secret about his nightmares. Souls, who wear white jackets, are using dreams to communicate to the living and they want them to know life is not worth living because the afterlife is grand. Michael and Ashling learn how to connect with the afterlife through their dreams and experience a new reality. Under the afterlife leadership of Eideard and Michael's dead grandmother, they learn that the afterlife is made up of the dreams you experience while alive. For example, if you have dreamt of eating apples, than you will be able to eat apples in the afterlife. The longer you live, the more dreams you will have, the better the afterlife experience you will have, even if you suffer. The white jackets reject that theory. They believe no one should suffer. The white jackets find 13 people in Sumter, New Jersey and torment them to commit suicide. Michael is tormented in his dreams with nooses, displays of people killing themselves, and mysterious chants that terrify the 14-year old. Michael learns he has been targeted by the white jackets and that he must die in an effort to show the world that life is meaningless. The white jackets stage 13 suicides in Sumter with cryptic suicide. One-by-one, 11 people with 11 different social problems from Sumter, some Michael know, die along with others including those he loves. Michael, with the help of other souls, realizes who is responsible and prepares for the ultimate showdown
