About the Book

A collection of short stories by 17-year old Aditya Srikar Pendyala, Sorry Secrets touches a vast range of subjects - diversifying from 'Weed and Coke', an underground drug-addicted obnoxious club ready to avenge female abuse, to 'Sorry Secrets', a humorous string of wild anecdotes, leading to the rekindling of friendship between two Secondary Senior students. In 'Blood', as twelve random people make their oblivious way to the same restaurant waiting to be bombed by a suicidal terrorist, read your way through to another novella 'The Breakfast Club', where magical nostalgia grips five tenth-grade students on one beautiful day, as they count their crushes, classes and cacophonies. As the apocalypse nears by in 'Dead and Here', a young adolescent collects articles on the incident, before heading to safety, for the most ridiculous place possible - the centre of the Earth. In 'Cliff Hanger', a suicidal twenty-two year old counts his losses before heading to his suicidal mountain, while in 'Musicalee Speaking', a middle-aged man opens up his own music shop for the love of Madonna, and hatred for consumerism. Read the heart-warming story of Jai in 'Run Motu Run', an overweight teenager battling the dilemma of obesity and being unwanted, and 'Detective Feat', where one detective and four rendezvous associates drink over a counterfeiting case. In 'Disearthed, a group of archaelogists discover the end of their continent a day before it occurs, and in 'Grey shades', discover an author-turned-murderer turn the DIG of police's life upside down. Finally, treat yourself to the poetic beauty of love and the almighty in 'Soulful Breeze', and Earth's plea to us humans in 'My Fiend.'
About the Author: Aditya Srikar Pendyala, 17, is resident of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. A lover of music, with hobbies such as reading, singing, jumping and dancing, blogging, writing, and making rhythmic/noisy sounds from anything he finds. He is passionate about getting rich, happy, successful and contented. He feels that one must eradicate corruption, gender discrimination and the orthodox minds to form a beautiful, secular country. Aditya wrote his first short story at the age of seven, as a gift to his mother on her birthday, and soon developed it as a personal hobby until he was fourteen, when he decided to pursue it in a full-fledged manner. He remembers pulling out a piece of paper, as an adolescent, writing a poem, and loving the feeling. Ever since then, writing has been the way for him to go. His inspiration for writing stories/poems are little crazy brainwaves that are usually invigorated by sub-conscious experiences and a pointless imagination. Aditya S. Pendyala. Aditya claims to be a sucker for any book that is fancy, posh and classy. That said, he says he has a personal bookshelf no better than a twelve year old's. Dan Brown, J.K Rowling, Enid Blyton, Jeffrey Archer, Vikram Seth, Chetan Bhagat are a few of the many authors that he finds fascinating. As for his future plans, Aditya wants to be an engineer after he finishes his twelfth grade. He also hopes to be a successful, well known author, more than anything a genuinely happy person. Among his wish list is the desire to earn enough money to donate fortunes to charity
