About the Book:
This little work is a book about family history. It is also the story of a near-tragic love affair.
However, at its heart, it is an inspirational story about a quest that lies deep within all of us,
"Who am I and where do I come from."

About the Author:
Richard Lee Hartness, Sr., a Wynne, Arkansas native, has had a lifelong interest in historical topics. Inspiration for things historical came from curiosity about a missing father, his maternal grandmother's stories, multiple annual trips to the southern Arkansas Ouachita Mountains homestead of his ancestors and extended family, but a love of writing as well.
Back in 1967, an Arkansas State College history professor added to that inspiration. He wrote:
"I spend so much time pushing the average student that the outstanding scholar may feel that his rewarding efforts have gone unnoticed. This will let you know that your record is remembered....Sincerely yours, Charles M. Hepburn, Ph. D.; Assistant Professor of History"
In addition to the various newspaper, historical quarterly, journal, booklet, and anthology articles, Hartness local history interests has authored two other books, Wittsburg, Wynne, and Points Nearby and The Circle. Along with Someday...You'll Know!, both are available on his website - www.hartnesspublications.com. Also coming soon, Bon Campbell: Twice A General, a biography of the life and career of one of the three Regular Army officers who established the ROTC program at Arkansas State College (now University) in 1936.
Hartness will also consider creating commissioned work. Contact him at: rhartness@yahoo.com.
