About the Author: Dr. Nithyadharseni Palaniyandy is a Senior Researcher at the Institute for the Development of Energy for African Sustainability, College of Engineering, Science and Technology, University of South Africa, Roodepoort, South Africa. Her main research interests are advanced electrode materials for energy storage applications such as secondary-ion batteries, Metal-Air batteries, and super-capacitors including novel methods of synthesis, characterization, and evaluation of the electrochemical properties in half/full-cell assemblies.
Dr. Abhilash K P, has awarded his Doctoral degree in the field of all-solid-state-Li-ion batteries, from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India (in 2016). He has worked as a Post-doctoral researcher (2016-2017) at Advanced Battery Research Laboratory, Department of Physics, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore, and at NEMs Lab, Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NJUST), Nanjing, China (2017 to 2019). Dr. K.P.A. is now working as a Faculty of research (Under the Marie Curie Research Funding: European Union: CZ) in the Department of inorganic Chemistry, University of Chemistry and Technology (UCT), Prague, from 2021. His research interests include all-solid-state batteries, nano-energy materials (NEMs), and novel 3D and 2D energy storage systems.
Dr. Nalini is a faculty in Physics at Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore 641043, TN, India. She was awarded STA fellowship in 2000 for 2 years and worked at Osaka National Research Institute, Osaka, Japan where she prepared the Lithium lanthanum titanate with high ionic conduction and constructed first all solid state battery. She also have undergone postdoctoral research experience in Nanotechnology Research Institute where she had performed unfoliation and preparation of Carbon Nanotubes and utilized for sensing. Her research interests include all solid state batteries, Solid oxide fuel cells, supercapacitors and opto- electrochemical devices.
