En esta ocasión Ricardo retoma su pasión por la métrica, la rima, el soneto español endecasílabo y de forma sencilla, simple y con un lenguaje claro y una magistral fluidez lleva al lector a un mundo de profunda reflexión interior donde, el alma, encuentra tesoros si bien, no perdidos, sí traspapelados, por así decirlo, en un mundo donde más que soledad, las personas sufren de ausencia de compañía.
About the Author: Ricardo Jiménez Reyna, nació a las nueve de la noche con cuarenta y cinco minutos, del día sábado siete de octubre de mil novecientos sesenta y uno; en la ciudad y puerto de Ensenada, Baja California; en una oscura sala de expulsión de la clínica ocho del Seguro Social que parecía, más que un hospital, un hotel de paso de menos cinco estrella. Desde temprana edad muestra un fuerte interés por las artes, principalmente por la música y la pintura; pero fue hasta los siete años de edad que él descubre el mundo de la literatura gracia a uno de sus hermanos, quien todas las noches le leía poemas como El Mío Sid y otros clásicos. Hasta los ocho años de edad Ricardo comenzó a escribir algunos versos, aquellos primeros versos dedicados a su madre que decían: "Dime madre que las estrellas son tus ojos...." Así inició su camino en el galano arte de la literatura. Nunca fue amante de dar a conocer sus versos, salvo con amigos escritores que en ocasiones le doblaban o triplicaban la edad ya que, siempre consideró que su atracción por las letras clásicas como sonetos, sonetillos, odas y otros, eran solo obras para algunos y no todos. En su juventud ingresó a trabajar como corrector de estilo en el periódico El Vigía, en su primera época, diario donde obtuvo la oportunidad de escribir una columna llamada "Pluma de Neófito" después comenzaría su carrera como reportero de las fuentes policíacas y políticas. Cuando aquel diario cierra, ingresa a otros periódicos como La Voz de la Frontera, El Centinela, El Sol de Tijuana, Diario ABC, El Mexicano, Diario Baja California y también incursiona en el periodismo frívolo colaborando con las revistas Ejecutivos y Q'Hacer Turístico, donde termina su carrera como Director Editorial; de igual manera, debido a su inquietud y por necesidades económicas, Ricardo también laboró como diseñador y editor en los mismos medios periodísticos a la par de su carrera como reportero y columnista. En el año dos mil seis, Ricardo publicó su primer libro de versos titulado Volatorio, editada por La Caverna Disqueléxica y publicada por Ediciones Oasis, edición que está agotada y, actualmente, Sinergia Editores ha publicado sus más recientes trabajos: Enamoratorio, Narralatorio, Decimatorio y ahora Soledatorio. Asimismo ha participado en una serie de eventos literarios donde gustosamente ha compartido sus versos y otros trabajos.
