About the Author Dr. A Sreekumar is Assistant Professor in Department of Green Energy Technology, Pondicherry University (A Central University). He received his PhD from Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi, India with specialization in Solar Thermal Engineering. He received his MTech. in ?Energy Management?. Prior to joining Pondicherry University, he was serving as Senior Scientist and Head, Solar Energy Division of Sardar Patel Renewable Energy Research Institute (SPRERI), Gujarat. In SPRERI, he also served as Principal Investigator of ?Regional Test Centre-cum-Technical Backup Unit for Solar Thermal Devices? sponsored by MNRE, New Delhi. Published several research papers in national and international journals. He is a Certified Energy Manager of Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, Govt. of India. His areas of research interest are solar thermal energy conversion devices and thermal energy storage. G Raam Dheep is Research Associate in Department of Green Energy Technology, Pondicherry University (A Central University). He received his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering and MTech. in Nanoscience and Technology, Anna University. His main areas of research interest includes material processing for energy generation and storage applications.
