Abren zanjas oscuras en el rostro más fiero y en el lomo más fuerte. Serán tal vez los potros de bárbaros Atilas; o los heraldos negros que nos manda la Muerte. Son las caídas hondas de los Cristos del alma de alguna fe adorable que el Destino blasfema. Esos golpes sangrientos son las crepitaciones de algún pan que en la puerta del horno se nos quema. Y el hombre... Pobre... ¡pobre! Vuelve los ojos, como cuando por sobre el hombro nos llama una palmada; vuelve los ojos locos, y todo lo vivido se empoza, como charco de culpa, en la mirada. Hay golpes en la vida, tan fuertes... ¡Yo no sé!" (César Vallejo) Este poema é de 1918, ano em que se iniciava o interstício entre as guerras. A beleza deste poema é o fato dele falar sobre aqueles momentos da vida que não inenarráveis, no qual o fardo que temos que carregar se torna praticamente insuportável. O livro "Sofia, meu mundo caiu!" trata desses momentos. Escrito em primeira pessoa, por meio de vozes e olhares distintos, o leitor é levado a passear pelo tempo suavemente. Ao longo da narrativa podemos ver traços da estética francesa bem como uma alusão ao clássico de Garcia, Cien años de soledad. A utilização de fluxo de consciência por meio de períodos curtos, dá ao texto uma cadência e ritmo que prendem o leitor. O livro pode ser caracterizado como paradoxal, não por ser contradizer, mas sim por unir elementos opostos como tragédia e alegria, campo e cidade, o homem rural e o homem culto, a mulher da vida (prostituta) e a mulher casada. O que dizer dos personagens? Maria comete um crime para ser feliz e mostra que devido ao crime é impossível atingir a felicidade. Sofia sofre um crime, e ao deixar este passado para trás, alcança a plenitude. Esta última é a personagem mais complexa, completa e interessante da história: sofre, luta, vence, sofre, morre, mas vence. Ela é forte e frágil, inocente e sagaz, doce e intensa. Intensidade, creio que esta é outra palavra que descreve o livro. As cenas são fortes, emocionantes e impactantes. Destaco a cena do estupro e das relações que o primeiro chefe tinha com sua mãe. Como não tenho palavras para descrever o que essas cenas provocam, recorrei a Poética de Aristóteles: "Sofia, meu mundo caiu" provoca karthasis no sentido mais aristotélico possível. O intervalo temporal no qual a história se desenrola passa pela Grande Guerra, Golpe de 64 e chega aos nossos dias de crise econômica e política. O livro destaca temas como violência contra mulher, os abusos de poder cometidos pelos policiais bem como a corrupção desta corporação, a questão da ditadura militar brasileira entre outros temas de fundamental relevância. O cunho social e a escolha do léxico marcam o lócus enunciativo fazendo que este livro se torne não só uma obra literária devido ao tratamento estético mas também uma ficção de cunho político-social, estabelecendo vínculo com obras pós colonialistas de Spivak e, ouso dizer, de Fanon. Recomendo esta obra a todos (que não sofram de depressão!).
