Les entreprises du Web s'occupaient de Web, les entreprises e-commerce de e-commerce. De même pour les entrepreneurs eux-mêmes: les entrepreneurs du e-commerce venaient plutôt du monde du commerce, ceux du Web, du monde du Web. Ces derniers mois, pourtant, des nouveaux services comme Groupon, Blippy, ou Ping, sont apparus à l'intersection de ces deux mondes et connaissent une croissance énorme. About the Author: Julien Chaumond est prospectiviste, entrepreneur et consultant dans les domaines du Web et du e-commerce. Après une formation en maths appliquées et en informatique à l'Ecole Polytechnique et en recherche sur les bases de données à Stanford, il a été en charge de la coordination des actions publiques en faveur du développement des secteurs du Web et du mobile auprès du Ministère de l'Economie et du Secrétariat d'Etat au développement de l'économie numérique. Julien Chaumond est également membre fondateur du think-do tank ReOPEN, l'association pour la réutilisation des données publiques et l'ouverture d'une plateforme Etat numérique.
