The human race endeavours to avoid repeating its mistakes and frequently fails. Nevertheless, it strives in the presence of hope. However, once the inevitable occurs and hope is lost... so are they.
Jae accepts me for what I am. But now, when I longed for a life with her at my side, my hold on her was failing. My past lurked in the shadows to destroy everything, and I thought I could keep us safe. Yet, I was proven incapable of protecting her from the one person she should never have to fear: me.
Against any odds and all transient hope, one thing will remain. I will love her - forever. Sin fractured before my eyes, and I couldn't catch the shattering pieces without causing harm.
