Hugo Navarro, agente de policía perteneciente al Grupo Operativo de Respuesta de la Policía Nacional Española, tiene como función diaria, mantener la paz, proteger y servir. Desplegado, normalmente, en situaciones ligeramente más complicadas que las que un patrullero puede abordar, esta vez debe superar sus demonios internos tras lo ocurrido, en la última intervención que realizó, con su equipo. Cuando algunos de estos le dan la espalda, este debe seguir adelante con un único fin, no ser un muerto en vida. Por él, por su familia. Tendrá que lidiar con los fantasmas del pasado mientras le ofrecen una nueva oportunidad para la que estará sobre cualificado, en un puesto puramente administrativo. Tras año difícil, lidiará con la ardua tarea de crear un nuevo equipo.
Su misión: Lograr que un nuevo grupo funcione como un reloj suizo sobre el terreno y, quién sabe, si volver a sentir a un equipo de trabajo como a una familia. Lo malo es que, como en toda familia, siempre hay una oveja negra que perturbará la estabilidad y convivencia del equipo. Solo que, en su trabajo, la estabilidad y convivencia, puede tener consecuencias fatales. Sobre todo, si te has de enfrentar a un enemigo para el cual, nunca te han preparado.
En una elección, siempre se pierde algo y, por lo que estoy comenzando a procesar, aquí hay mucho que perder.
