Durch das Aufkommen und die Verbreitung von Social Software im Internet seit Beginn des Jahrtausends beginnt ein öffentliches Interesse an sozial-ästhetischen Künsten, die das Autonomie-Modell Künstler>Werk>Publikum verlassen haben. Schon vor dem Internet, in den 80er Jahren, gab es eine vergleichbare Situation im local area network, als das Programm HyperCard allen den Zugang zum Formulieren im Computer öffnete. Wie kann die Kunst sein, die das über 200 Jahre bewährte Modell von Kunst verlässt, zugunsten der Form des Austausches. Das Buch zeigt Beispiele.
About the Author: Kurd Alsleben (1928): Rechner waren 1960 grosse Schränke ohne Monitor und bekamen erstmals Plotter: im Hamburger DESY gaben C. Passow und ich über Potentiometer Werte von uns ein und erhielten seitens der Denkmaschine gezeichnete Antworten. Plötzlich war ich sendender Künstler einer, der Mitteilung erwartet. In meinem Buch Ästhetische Redundanz sind die Zeichnungen publiziert. Ich lehrte an der hfg ulm, der HfbK Berlin und bin Prof. für künstlerische Telematik/Computer an der HfbK Hamburg. Wir experimentierten in den '70ern mit Randlochkarten bis mit den personalen Computernetzen die Hamburger Datenkunstbewegung der 80er Jahre entstand. Ich war einer der Akteure und veröffentlichte 1988 den ersten künstlerischen Hypertext. '94 entwarfen M. Lehnhardt und ich INTERFACE3 network: mit anderen hielten wir ein 3/4 Jahr Netzconversationen. Seit '98 entwickeln wir, Antje Eske und ich gemeinsam mit anderen, den urbino-chat. Er verbindet die Netzkunst mit der Kunstgeschichte.
