SUDDEN INFANT DEATH SYNDROME (SIDS): SIDS has remained a mystery for more than 50 years, because the factual truth has eluded the experts, none of whom, have ever envisaged, that the infant's flaccid tongue, is the actual physical obstruction, that blocks the trachea and causes SIDS. The simple answer as to why SIDS remains an unsolved tragedy, lies in the fact that, at autopsy, pathologists never saw any indication that, the tongue had become flaccid. They saw no abnormality to indicate that, the tongue had physically obstructed the trachea and caused SIDS.
