About the Author: Adair Sanders was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and obtained her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Tennessee. Her legal career spans thirty-three years and includes work as a special assistant United States attorney and a federal attorney for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, as well as private practice in Jackson, Mississippi.
Her recently released novel, As Sick As Our Secrets, weaves her legal knowhow into a compelling tale of a successful female trial lawyer who hails from a dysfunctional family background-not unlike Sanders's own. It's the first installment in her forthcoming Allison Parker mystery series and is her second book. Her first, Biologically Bankrupt: Sins of the Fathers, was a finalist in the 2012 Colorado Independent Publishers Association EVVY Awards.
Sanders currently splits her time between Warne, North Carolina, and Beaufort, South Carolina, and no longer practices law, though her education and experiences remain integral parts of her work as an author.
