Deacon Nick (secular Franciscan of the precious blood) established "the servants of the Lord" healing community, comprised of the laity and religious both men and women. They follow the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi, devoted to the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Deacon Nick was ordained May 8, 1983 as a permanent deacon in the holy Roman Catholic Church. He is married and has two children. Besides his normal duties as husband and father, the ministers in his parish (our Lady of Mount caramel) in Yonkers, New York. Shed for our salvation was my first attempt at writing my thoughts and meditations on paper. It started out as a 39 page pamphlet, and Barnes & Noble would not accept it because it did not have a square spine.
In wanting Vasz Books to republish it.
They suggested that I enlarge it. So, besides the original manuscript. I decided to add some special prayers. In this day and age where the evil one is running rampant, I believe that prayers of deliverance and prayers to overcome the activities of the evil one in our lives would be most effective to keep our spiritual life on track.
So you have prayers of our Blessed Mother, St. Michael, St. Falco (St. Falco is a little-known St. who is the patron of Palena in Italy) who is very powerful in defeating the evil spirits. There are prayers of the Holy Spirit calling upon him for his grace and power to overcome the attacks of the evil one.
While working with the youth. I've discovered that their attraction to media hosts, fortune-telling, Ouija boards, and the like outweighs anything, having to do with spirituality and their souls. They think this evil stuff is just a game with them. In truth, to show them the film of Penny and Bob Lord, entitled this is my body, this film documented by the church and scientifically investigated and acknowledged that the Eucharistic miracles to be true. Miracles.
Some were so days interested in the film that I now see how far we have strayed away from our Lord Jesus Christ. I continue to try to reach out to the youth one-on-one in the hopes that something that would stick or at least provoke a discussion. Nothing! They have no knowledge of abortion, birth control, masturbation, same-sex marriages and other moral teachings of Jesus the Christ and the church. I hope by writing this book. Someone would teach a new generation about the price that was paid for our salvation.
