The ship cruised through the roaring waves of Arabian Sea. We stood at the forecastle staring down. The sharp leading edge of the ship pierced the water with ease. The water, raised upwards, as though to stop the ship from proceeding further, then returned to the lap of the sea.
Olga Vasilievna turned her head towards me. I could read the anxiety-filled in her eyes. The afternoon sun filled in it and flowed down. None spoke. None listened. The silence did all the communication between us.
We knew each other. We understood even our silent stares.
Her pink skin was glowing. The golden hair fell on her eyes. She stood careless about it. Her lips were shiny red and reflected the sunshine.
I wanted to drink love through those, again.
The ship, Alexayevskii II, was a twin-hulled one with ice-breaking capabilities. Five decks below four steam engines sweated pushing her forward.
'Beautiful!' She indexed towards the right.
A group of dolphins were moving in a rhythmic motion. They could communicate with one another without a language. I was amazed to think about the creations of almighty.
'Really!' I agreed.
She leaned toward me. Her head resting on my right chest. I covered her with my hand as though to protect her from the world.
A flock of cranes flew past us, above. Their white feathers reflecting the bright sun. They resembled an arrow, sharp and oriented one. SWARM intelligence.
'Creator's creation. None can beat him, ' I said.
'What?' She asked, as in a whisper. The waves of air carrying her voice along with it.
I indicated towards the birds, without answering her. She followed my gesture. Then let out a long exhale. 'Shall we fly along?' She smiled.
'Not now.' I kissed on her forehead and kept my lips there for some time. I could feel the warm love filled in her heart.
My lungs filled with the fragrance of her love.
She closed her eyes and savoured the moment with equal passion. Her breaths slowed down and her heart became serene.
I separated from her and turned toward the guardrail.
'Not now. The time shall come.'
