About the Book

Several Shadows is comprised of three volumes that take you further into the past with Pay Day the Author/Julian Hill. The book originally written as a journal became a powerful piece of work. The main character Jovon who portrays Pay Day was raised in a Christian home. Very early on he strays from the path set for him to follow as all sinners do according to God's Word and teachings. At a young age Jovon knew he admired certain types of larger women and girls at the time. This continued into adulthood when he was heavily into his music, writing and business pursuits. The women he dealt with were a diverse bunch. Some were good girls. Others were not in this category. He pursued three main kinds of Real Curvy Big & Beautiful Women. Those younger than him. Those his age. And ladies older than he was sometimes significantly. It really didn't matter much to young Jovon. They were either down with his program or they could learn to be. He met women at work. Some in his community. Others throughout the cities he resided in. Some had good effects on him while a few rubbed him the wrong way. This all had an impact of his creativity, which he expressed daily based on certain situations. There was a time that Jovon took matters into his own hands. He expected his women of choice to be by his side. Loyalty accounts for durability. As a result, many didn't stick around long due to his straightforwardness with them. He pushed forward regardless. The journey of a BBW Admirer can be different than his peers who aren't into plus size women. His circle can either support him or shun him. Jovon was supported. Everyone in his clique of friends and family knew he couldn't get enough of these kind of women and he only wanted more of them as time went on. Jovon wasn't a tough guy. He simply did what he had to based on the circumstances. On occasion he hung around people who were far stronger than he was or perceived to be. This wasn't a challenge for him. Most times he got along with others except in the case of respect. What was on his mind was success and he needed the right woman, so that he could be focused or so he believed. Early signals of mental illness were apparent in Jovon. His anger was out of control. He believed things that weren't necessarily true. He often thought he was followed. In time he would arm himself for protective purposes and to look over the clique and associates just in case something occurred. His women were also a part of this scenario. It wasn't until almost a decade later that his mind couldn't take anymore and shut down. He got the help he needed. He then began a new chapter of his life marrying his longtime love and mother of his daughter. But who knew that there still were unresolved issues? Jovon Hall can be a symbol of strength in spite of the challenges he struggled with. Having a mental illness is stigmatized. Many people think you don't know what you're talking about most of the time. They don't take you seriously. Because of this, millions of people globally do not seek help available to prevent suicide, accidents, murders or more. Too many of us prejudge someone for a number of reasons. Pay Day the Author/Julian Hill is living with a mental illness. He's made a large number of mistakes along the way that he admits. Still each day is a point to begin anew. Don't get lost in the sexual interactions of Jovon without learning how he made it through. This book is recommended for BBWs, BBW Admirers, Christians and those that profess God and Jesus Christ, Blacks and minorities, mentally ill persons, inmates, the sick and shut-in, underprivileged persons, urban residents, psychologists, psychiatrists and other medical professionals, counselors or anyone who appreciates strength in God and bearing your daily cross. This is the point of the book told through the eyes of a BBW Admirer who is also a creative talent and entrepreneur and mentally ill.
