About the Book

Surprising information that “proves” Hitler did not die in World War II leads British historian Harrison Ashcroft on a journey to Berlin to investigate the truth. Once there, he is killed and his murder is made to look like an accident. The investigation of Ashcroft's death brings four other people to Berlin. However, they do not know what’s in store for them as they inch closer to The Seventh Secret. Summary Of The Book An informant tells Harrison Ashcroft, a British historian, something that supposedly "proves" that Hitler lived post the World War II and had not committed suicide as was believed. This prompts him to travel to Berlin and investigate. Once he reaches there, he is murdered. However, his killing is declared an accident. This unfortunate event draws four other people to investigate his death. Ashcroft’s daughter, Emily, visits Hitler's dentist who shows her a sketch of Hitler’s necklace and a dental chart. He says that the Russians never found the necklace nor the dental crown that he had placed on his teeth a few days before the war ended. A collector of Hitler’s art, Kirvov is in possession of a painting that is believed to be an original one by Hitler himself. The painting is that of a Nazi building and has in it a depiction of a remodeled building that had in 1952, an additional part constructed. If this is an original painting of Hitler, how does it depict something added to the building’s design close to seven years after he supposedly died? Mossad agent, Levine discovers that Hitler and his wife had body doubles who normally attended personal and official engagements on their behalf. Could these doubles be the ones who died and not Hitler and his wife? Californian architect Rex Foster finds out that Hitler had not six, but seven bunkers, and that the seventh unknown one was adjacent to the one in which Hitler was believed to have died in. As they put together the pieces of this puzzle, Emily along with Foster, Kirvov and Levine stumble upon a shocking truth. What could that be? About Irving Wallace Irving Wallace was an American author and screenwriter. He has penned novels like The Celestial Bed, The Golden Room, The Writing of One Novel, Significa, and The Sunday Gentleman. Wallace was famous for his well researched novels, many of which had sexual overtones and displayed his penchant for using the definitive article in the title of novels. He particularly liked writing the stories related to outsiders. Wallace was born in Chicago on March 19, 1916, to Jewish parents Alexander Wallace and Bessie Liss. He spent his childhood in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and studied at Kenosha Central High School. As a teenager, he began writing short stories for newspapers and soon landed a job as a screenwriter in Hollywood. After that, he moved onto writing books full-time and published his first work in 1955. Irving Wallace was married to Sylvia Wallace and was the father of author Amy Wallace and Olympic historian David Wallechinsky.

A Thrilling But Totally Believable Murder Mystery

Read this in one evening. I had planned to do other things with my day, but it was impossible to put down. Every time I tried, I was drawn back to it in less than 5 minutes. I sobbed my eyes out the entire last 100 pages. Highly recommend!
