Sermon Notes Guided Journal: A 52-week resource to help you listen actively, catalog weekly sermons, and contemplate challenging messages

Proverbs 4:13 encourages us to "keep hold of instruction." Sometimes just the act of writing helps us remember what we hear. We created this journal for sermon notes to give you an organized way to collect your weekly notes. Each journal contains enough space for you to record notes for an entire year of weekly church attendance.

The notes section of the journal contains 52 two-page layouts for each week of sermon notes, giving you enough space to record an entire year of weekly Sunday-morning messages.

You'll find space to record the date, speaker, sermon title, scriptures used, and then a long section for taking notes. We purposely created each weekly notes section as two facing pages so you never have to flip back and forth during a sermon to take notes.

After the "notes" section, you'll find a section for "follow-up." Use this area to note any scriptures or ideas you want to research later. You can also record upcoming events and reminders.

Our Sermon Notes Guided Journal also functions as a log for recording sermons for quick retrieval. At the beginning of the book, we included space for writing in the dates covered by the journal, allowing you to continually chronicle your sermon notes from one journal to the next. The journal is 7"X10," slightly smaller than the average notebook, a conveniently portable size for a keepsake journal that looks great with our other guided journals as a series on a bookshelf.
