About the Book

Michael Pawlowskie is an ex-FBI agent who had spent the last fifteen years of his career working for a giant corporation. That corporation, like many others, ended up in bankruptcy. It left behind rich unemployed executives, and destitute former employees. With the bankruptcy, Michael, like many others, lost nearly everything he had. Then one day he decides to fight back and creates VOCA (Victims of Corporate Abuse). Along the way he encounters help from beautiful twin sisters. He didn't know it at the time but he would have been much better off without their help. However, they help this ultra-straight ex-law enforcement officer to become a rich and powerful man; who gets caught up in a web of deceit, extortion, and murder.Makika Walsh and Makiala Johnson (the Edward's twins) are very rich and beautiful, with a very sad and dark past. They have different last names, for a very deadly reason. Not long into their relationship with Michael, they had him having to choose between turning them in for murder or give back the 750 million deposited into VOCA's bank to the deceased man's family. His new found fame and wealth had him calling the President of the United States his friend and mentor. This friendship would see him get elected to the United States Senator. Michael thought by moving to Washington he would grow distance in his relationship with the Edward's twins and people would stop dying. He was wrong. Unfortunately, this didn't happen, the deaths were only getting closer and closer to Michael. So close, in fact, he was sure he was on the list of those chosen to die.The race was on, were the Edward's twins killing people or were they, like the FBI, trying to find the killer before they too were killed. Michael cursed two days in his life; the day he met the Edward's twins and the day he had chosen to keep money destined for VOCA clients over turning them in for murder. Would this ultimately end in his own death? For a better understanding of Michael's journey read Lost Identity
About the Author: I grew up in the 60's on a hill farm in Northern England. I wasn't really a Hippie, but I did like to wear my hair long. Growing up on a hill farm with no running water, no electricity, and no heat; taught me how to imagine. I have a wife, and three children. 38, 17 and 17. Yes, I know, there is quite an age difference. I live in Austin, Texas, now. I have my own company. A Data Center providing the Cloud and Colocation Services. In a previous life, I spent years flying around the world as an engineer and executive in the oil industry. I read everything that Clancy, Lescroats, Sanford, Patterson, Grisham and many others, could put out... And then, one day, I was flying to Japan, reading as usual, when I said to myself... "I can do this." Writing is not something I had thought I would like to do. Writing is not something I thought I would ever do. Writing is easy. Writing so that someone else can follow your thought processes is very difficult. I hope you enjoy my story telling. If you do, feel free to send me a message at jsteel@jonathansteel.me and tell me. And, please, tell ALL your friends. If you don't, go to a bar, have a pint and drown your sorrows. Then think about writing, a book.
