How you choose to use this self care journal is entirely up to you, there is no "wrong
way" or "right way" the goal of this journal is to help you make conscious decisions
so you can live a happier, healthier life.
The daily pages were designed to help you build healthy daily habits. It is when we
take consistent daily actions that we create habits. By tracking your daily progress
you can see self growth and feel proud about the progress you're making. The daily
self care trackers for general health and well being include: sleep, mood, water,
exercise, and meals. These trackers will help you focus on taking good care of your
body by eating right, exercising regularly, and getting plenty of restful sleep.
Healthy thoughts create healthy behaviors so we've also included a place on the
daily pages for you to express your Morning Gratitude and Your Daily Affirmations.
By staying focused on your affirmations throughout the day you will stay more
motivated and inspired to stay on track with your daily actions and plans. The daily
practice of gratitude is an important act of self care because it shifts your mindset
from scarcity to abundance.
We've also included a space on the daily pages for you to write in your Morning
Journal. Journaling first thing in the morning has been found to help people deal
with stress and overwhelm, it helps them clear their minds and start their days off
more productively.
The daily pages also includes a list of Today's Priorities. Having a list of priorities each
day will help you relieve stress, you will have a list of daily priorities so you can stay
focused and on track, this will help your life feel manageable and less overwhelming.
The daily pages also includes a Self Care Plan for the day, it's important to have a
daily self care plan to manage stress and enhance health and well being. The areas
you can address in your self care plan can include physical, emotional, spiritual,
social, intellectual, occupational, and environmental. If you create a daily plan and
write it in your journal you are more likely to follow the plan, this also gives you the
opportunity to follow your progress and see your personal growth.
At the end of each week's daily pages there are two blank pages for you to doodle
or journal, these are pages for you to clear your mind. Enjoying a quiet mind is a
wonderful act of self care because you'll feel less anxious and as a result this will
make you feel happier.
At the beginning of each week, we have inspiring quotes on coloring pages. These
quotes are meant to inspire you to put yourself first. We've also provided beautiful
uniquely designed coloring pages for you to have a fun, relaxing, anti-stress activity
each week. These coloring pages are meant to be colored with coloring pencils or
crayons as gel pens, ballpoint pens or markers will bleed through the pages.
The Monthly Trackers are 30 Day At-a-Glance Trackers for easy tracking of Sleep,
Mood and Habits. These are color coded trackers, again we recommend that you
only use colored pencils or crayons due to gel pens, pens, and markers bleeding
through the pages. These trackers will make it easy for you to track patterns and
cycles over a 30 day period.
We have also provided three 30 Day Monthly Challenges for you to enjoy each
month. The monthly challenges are a way for you to focus on a specific goal every
month towards developing a happier and healthier self-care mindset.
At the end of the journal we have two exercises to help you on your Self Care
Journey. One is the Happy List Exercise and the other is the Self Care Activities On
Not So Good Days Exercise.
