Jahrhunderts, Note: 6.0 (Schweiz), Universität Bern (Institut für Philosophie), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Eigentlichkeit und Uneigentlichkeit sind zwei Begriffe, welche sich in Heideggers Denken diametral gegenüberstehen. Beide sind gleichursprüngliche Seinsweisen des Daseins. Während dem das eigentliche Dasein, im Vorlaufen zum Tode als unüberholbare Möglichkeit sich selbst und sein eigenstes Sein wählt, so ist das uneigentliche Dasein hingegen an das Man und an die Weltlichkeit der Welt verfallen. Eigentlichkeit und Uneigentlichkeit sind daher zumindest ontologisch zu unterscheiden, da sie verschiedene Seinsweisen des Daseins darstellen. Nun, so Heidegger, sind sie wohl auch epistemisch oder phänomenologisch unterscheidbar, dadurch, dass sie qualitativ andere Aspekte aufweisen. Nur das eigentliche Selbst entschliesst sich im Augenblick (Heidegger, 2006). Es scheint also auf den ersten Blick einfach zu sein, bestimmen zu können, ob das Dasein eigentlich oder uneigentlich ist. Dem ist jedoch nicht so. Erstens führt Heidegger den Begriff Zweideutigkeit ein, welcher die gesamte Unterscheidung erschwert (Heidegger, 2006). Zweitens kommt er auch auf zwei Begriffe zu sprechen, die er später nicht mehr weiter ausführen wird. Diese sind das unechte und echte Verstehen, die sich auf die Eigentlichkeit und Uneigentlichkeit beziehen (Heidegger, 2006). Was ist unter echtem/unechtem Verstehen, respektive unter echter/unechter Eigentlichkeit und echter/unechter Uneigentlichkeit zu verstehen? Diese Begriffe sind unterbestimmt und werden nicht weiter erklärt. Dennoch kann man davon ausgehen, dass Heidegger die echten Formen von Verstehen in seinem Werk ausdifferenziert und analysiert (Heidegger, 2006).
