About the Author: Larry Gottlieb completed his undergraduate work in physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1967, and he completed his master's degree in X-Ray astronomy at the University of California, San Diego, in 1969. After participating actively in the anti-Vietnam War movement in San Diego, he moved to Aspen, Colorado in 1970 and began a 20-year career in the music business.
