"Seeds of Light" begins with an amazing event that took place on the Hamilton family's South Florida Gulf Coast estate in the early part of the 20th century. It follows the family through four generations.In the story, the source of inspiration for "Seeds of Light" comes from essays written by Josh David Hamilton, a Geophysics Professor, almost one hundred years ago. His great grandson Josh David Hamilton III discovers these essays in the year 2024.

Now coming into view was a breathing aura of the City of Light. We began to glimpse the fuller view of this magnificent city that stretched out as far as the eye could see along the coastline.
Our reactions were expressed with such words as, "Unbelievable!", "How can this be real!"
My response and intuitive feelings was that this reflected something beyond technology. As a scientist I was serious and realistic about the possibilities that these marvelous people had taken technology to its pinnacle and had discovered a realm beyond where technology cannot go.
Our children Samuel and Marie were ecstatic with excitement. They were experiencing something far beyond any science fiction story they had ever read, any movie they had ever seen or could possibly dream up.
Even as a scientist this was too much for me to take this quick. My wife and I were looking all around and at each other with utter amazement asking, "How is this possible".
Coming into view was this enormous tree. I had visualized what it might look like from the essays but quickly realized that my imagination did not come close to the reality and grandeur of such an astonishing miracle of nature.
The illumined night sea was glowing with a brilliance of unimagined beauty. Thousands upon thousands of exotic sea creatures along with a never-ending multiplicity of sea flowers, plant life and trees were radiating their spectacular colors of light. The fullness of this sea world reflected a soft flow of the ocean's waters as it moved gently and calmly to its never-ending destination.
Several Dolphins came up to Sky Wings. What delightful and intelligent creatures. If only the sea creatures of our world could live in such an ocean paradise. The kids and Cockers were having the time of their lives. What a blessing and joy to see my family celebrating life as it should be for everyone.
As beautifully as the essays described what we had just stepped into, nothing could have possibly prepared us for what we were now witnessing.
